If you eliminate smoking and gambling, you will be amazed to find that almost all an Englishman's pleasures can be, and mostly are, shared by his dog.

| Charris has always loved animals. She grew up on an acre of land in the San Fernando Valley in what she calls a "true animal paradise". They had every pet you can imagine, including sheep, horses, chickens, rabbits and 4 dogs and 9 cats. She has also enjoyed volunteering for such organizations as The Wildlife Waystation, Actors and Others for Animals, Camp Happy Dog, Nutts for Mutts and the Equestrian Special Olympics, just to name a few. She is grateful to the families who allow her to spend time and care for their four-legged members and cannot think of anything she would rather do! Charris services the San Fernando Valley area in addition to being a backup sitter for all of the areas that we service and our weekend manager. | ![]() |

When she was young, Tanya's family always looked after the neighborhood animals and even adopted a few, sparking her passion early on. Some of the first rescues they brought into their family was an Irish Setter named Amber, a cat named Scrump and three fish named Harold, Amy and Maude. Since living in Los Angeles, Tanya has worked to turn her love for animals into a career by working at pet stores, dog kennels and most recently the Glendale Humane Society. During her three and a half year tenure there, she has increased her animal care skills by feeding, walking, bathing, medicating and most importantly advocating for dogs and cats. She also cares for two cats of her own, one of which requires daily insulin shots. She lives in Hollywood with her husband of four years and is enjoying her role of "increasing the quality of life for the animals in her care". Tanya services the Hollywood/West Hollywood areas. |
